Up goes the tower climber to mount two 2 Meter antennas, and two 440 antennas. One antenna for 147.330, 145.010, 444.950 and the Repeater controller frequency.

Waverly site.
Tower climber scales the tower on the right has a long way to go to the top at 200'. But it could be worse (for him anyway), the tower on the left is 400'!

Waverly site.
Yes in deed...
A l-o-n-g way to go....
Waverly site.

(Tower on right)
Tower climber finishing up 3rd antenna installation.

Antenna on top was the Super Station Master cut for our 2 meter frequency.

The 2nd antenna (on right side of tower) was for the UHF Repeater. 8 bay folded dipole antenna.

The 3rd antenna (beside climber) was for our Packet node on 145.010. Antenna made by Diamond.
Waverly site. Tower climber descending.

towards bottom of picture- White 'L' thing above the guy wires was the UHF receiver antenna we used with a Repeater controller to operate various functions for the 147.33/93 Repeater.
1991 - Meetings were still held at the Bartow Airbase at the time. Rick I WB9IJW Presiding.

WEBB W4LRA is in the foreground.

L.W.R.A. meeting at the old Florida Power building in Lake Wales. It dawned on some one finally to have Club meetings in Lake Wales rather than Bartow.

Member "Hank" standing on the left. On the right, standing, is John KD4ZUL.

John is reading the "Order of the Guilded Lily" to Hank. It's something you just had to be there for.
