80's or 70's? Not sure which on this one. It's a section of discarded fim, due to a double exposure.

This film was found between the pages of a Repeater meeting minutes book from the early 80's.

1989 - L.W.R.A. acquires abandoned Sheriff Shed. We are discarding our original shed for this nice insulated one with a hole on the side for an air conditioner unit.

Member Bill Augustine WA1LHJ walks by the newsed shed.

The shed on the right is the old one shown gutted. The Shed on the left is the FBI shed.
Glenn Myers WB4TIN "Puttin' the screws to it" on modifying the new shed to suit our needs.
The new shed finally makes it to it's place of prominence. It was tough squeezing the shed under that harness of cables. We did not want to move them too much and ruin the cable company's reception. Nothing like having ten thousand complaints ring in at once!
The UHF Repeater is in the front. Behind the UHF is 2 Meters and the box on the back wall will eventually become our 10 Meter, 1200 baud, packet node on 28.195.
Sam W4KUM and John KC4KLM hefting one of the repeaters out of the way.

Rick I WB9IJW, President of the Club at the time see this and thinks; "There has got to be something better than toting heavy Repeaters around. Maybe I should tell John and Sam to just walk it over to the Dumpster and let's buy a new one!"

Left to right) John KC4KLM, Sam W4KUM, Glenn WB4TIN, Rick I WB9IJW, and Bill WA1LHJ all posing in front of the new home for our Repeater gear, complete with air conditioning!
