The nasty wet weather stopped just in time for the "Freeze Your buns off" CW contest. Jack K4BYF set up his Elecraft CW transceiver and a 20 Meter dipole for the event. Jack made around a dozen contacts before the band swung out to europe.
Joe AD4IH brought the spicy Chili which was all consumed in a couple of hours.
A total of ten, the expected number, were present, and engaged in eating and conversation.
There may be more unofficial mini-events in the future so stay tuned.
