Checkpoint 1 / Rest stop 1. This first wave of riders traveled 38 miles up from Sebring and into the Frostproof area to get to this stop.
John - KC4KLM's lashup. Lap-top for area maps, dual band HT, dual band brick, and dual band antenna 10', and powered by a lawn tractor battery. Dula band came in handy as the support group ended up using UHF. But for a mighty lashup, KC4KLM still had a hard time being heard.
