area. Small, yet bigger than the last two years thanks to the great weather.
Never underestimate a small Hamfest. The have some of the most incredible
bargains to be had. Just ask Jack! Back
inside, New member Art WA1TIA is at the LWRA table selling an SB-101, and
and and MFJ vertical in the box (not shown) Jack K4BYF (far right) spotted across the other end of the indoors area by the only vendor present- Cedar City Sales. Glad they were on site. A number of us purchased equipment, antennas, connectors, and other supplies this year.
The
best and most fairest Hamfest lunch you ever had. The famous "Standing
wave" lunch. Still just $4 again this year, you get a Sloppy Joe sandwich,
iced down soft drink, chips and pickles! We bought a few plates of that.
Love it! Hope they keep it the same and bring it back every year. Howard WB4NYT (Left) and LWRA President Thomas AG4UC. Thomas has a discussion with Howard about some supplies he just bought from Hamfest vendor Cedar City Sales for a future "Club (meeting) project" that we can all build and benefit from. You will just have to come to the meetings to find out what this is about. Sam
W4KUM (sitting) having a Standing wave lunch, and LWRA President Thomas
AG4UC checking in at the LWRA table. Thomas
AG4UC spends the most this day out of all of us. Thomas picked up a number
of items from vendor Cedar City Sales to get him back on the air after a
loss of all his Ham equipment. We all had a blast....Thank you Highlands County Amateur Radio Club for another great event. - That's it - Navigation: Pic. page 1 Pic. Page 2 News Page Home page |
